Hi-Tec Jr. Indoor Shoes

Your service has been second to none for past transactions.

My daughter is nearly done with her size 2 Prince tennis shoes which were as close as I could find last year for here racquetball needs.
The new Hi-Tec Jr. Indoor Shoes look like what she should try next but a couple fitting questions first;
-Do they generally fit to size or should they be ordered a size large or small?
-How are they for width? (I'm thinking that boy's sizing may be wider than girls. Her feet are anything but wide)

I'd be having them mailed to Canada so returning due to bad fit would be impractical considering higher freight charges and customs issues.

You present a difficult scenario as I have no way to tell if the junior shoes are a true fit for junior sizes but nothing I can't figure out for you. I do know that with the men's Hi-Tec 4:SYS, the shoes are true to size but juniors are a different story. And I can't tell you to try a couple different pair since you're up north in Canada. Are you going to be coming to the states anytime soon so that I could ship a couple different sizes for your daughter to try? Let me know if you have a US address and if not, we'll figure something out.

I spoke with our rep at Hi-Tec and he would like to discuss this issue with you. He would know best the fit of their shoes and can offer some advice on foot size measurement as well. If you want to provide a phone number he will give you a call.

Follow-up:
Arnie Berman of Hi-Tec (SBC Global) called me at my office. We discussed fitment and he provided imperial measurement vs. shoe size equivalents which I later used to determine Annie's size requirement. Arnie also offered his phone number and email address asking that I feel free to contact him again should need be.
